besides the fact that it was updated, i think there was cracking/snapping problems with the design. Though i dont think it has happened to the slashes so.... you may be fine.

i love eastern, but they dont have the best full suspension designs. i would NOT get an eastern slash, yes they make nice hardtails and bmxes, but not fullies. If you want cheap and good fully go for mongoose or a little more pricey giant
